Hello Parents,
So the new hot lunch program is up and running and has been going really well. Some parents have chose to order for their children for October, November and December all at once and others have chose to do it month by month. Just remember that whatever you order for, one month or three, you have to pay for the entire order that you place at that time. It must be paid  before the deadline of 14 days prior to the date of your child’s first order of that month.
If you are currently using the program, we hope that it is going well for you. If you haven’t had an opportunity to try it, go online and check it out.
If you were planning to order for your children for November the deadline is October 18th.
Sincerely,
Canalta PAC

Welcome back!  The new school year has started and that means making lunches for the kids again!  This year the PAC has decided to use a new hotlunch program that is hopefully simple and easy to use for everyone.  The new program is called Munchalunch.

So the way it works is, you go to the website provided below, create a new account and you just follow the rest of the prompts. You will need to know the grade and teacher of your child to put them into the program.  Then you go to Order Lunch, and go from there.  You will notice that you can order starting Oct 4th until Dec 20th. You can decide to order 1 month at a time or for all 3 months at once. But when you place your order, you must pay 14 days before the date of the hotlunch. If that doesn’t happen, your order will automatically be kicked out of the program and your child will not receive hotlunch.   There is the option  to pay by credit card online or by cheque at the office.  If you are paying by cheque, it also must be dropped off at the office 14 days before (we have to manually enter it) or your child’s order will be kicked out as well.

The program is really quite simple and The PAC really hopes that you will like these new changes.  We are ALWAYS looking for parent volunteers to help with hotlunch. We all appreciate having hotlunch for our children, and it’s nice if all of us can have a share.

Testimony from a parent:  I found the best treatment out there that actually kills the lice and all nits- with a thorough comb thru with the head lice comb. The woman’s name is Toni and her business is Lice Strategies. She works out of Grande Prairie and she will deliver the treatment via purolator or one can go pick it up.  The website islicestrategies.com and her phone number is 780-380-LICE.
It is the best treatment and really works.
